BridgeBlue Sourcing Partners, LLC was conceived by J. Kent Martin and Nathan Taylor in November of 2002. After two years of working for a publicly held home furnishings import
company, they realized a great need for a domestic link between US companies and Asian factories, where the entire focus was dedicated to providing great product at competitive
pricing to the end consumer. This focus allows BridgeBlue to serve the needs of clients whether they are a Fortune 500 retailer or a small wholesaler.
BridgeBlue provides design, manufacturing and sourcing for some of the most prominent home furnishings retailers and wholesalers in the United States. The company is structured to
provide services to both high end and moderate priced clients while maintaining a constant level of design, quality and ethics.
BridgeBlue takes great pride in their humble beginnings and the fact that they have built a successful, unique and privately held company in such a short period of time. A relatively
small, but passionate and talented staff that comprises BridgeBlue is the key to the success of the company. Each person, whether in the US office or in one of the overseas offices
carries the same sense of dedication to providing the client with extraordinary product and service. The company prides itself in operating in an extremely ethical manner while providing
a fun and relaxed environment for clients and employees. Employees are encouraged to bring their dogs to work everyday and dress clothes are frowned upon.
BridgeBlue is based in Springfield, Missouri which J. and Nathan chose because of its central location for clients from both coasts. Springfield is a mid-size metropolitan area that is
recognized for being in the top 50 fastest growing economies in the nation. A thriving workforce, strong work ethic and reasonable cost of living allow BridgeBlue to operate more efficiently
and keep costs down for the customer.
While Springfield is home, the pair travels extensively for inspiration and to keep an eye on ever changing market trends. From the finest shops and museums of Europe to local thrift stores,
they are constantly looking for product ideas to bring to the marketplace. BridgeBlue team members also travel to Asia a minimum of six times per year to inspect production and explore new
production opportunities.
In addition to the domestic facility, BridgeBlue maintains offices in China and the Philippines with dedicated staffs that oversee every aspect of quality assurance. From raw materials
procurement and product development to production inspections and packaging, the overseas teams work with factories on a daily basis to insure the clients’ expectations are met and exceeded.
